Bill Reeves turns in the following report for birds seen this weekend in the SE part of the state.
Ten Mile Pond--water high but could be good for shorebirds if the water recedes during the week.
He saw

very few shorebirds
Taco Heronry at Sikeston now destroyed
Otter Slough
very few shorebirds
12-Black-necked Stilts
many Dickcissels
Mingo NWR
Acadian Flycatchers
Indigo Buntings
Gray Catbirds
Eastern Kingbirds
(after 7 p.m.)
Veery
Canada Warbler
Duck Creek
both Foresters and Common Terns
many Cormorants
Orchard Orioles
many Dickcissels
Bill now has 192 species for the year and
Steve Dilks has 197
