I stopped by the Thompson River Wetland, Livingston Co., for a short time this morning. There were a couple each Bell's Vireos, Orchard Orioles, Yellow Warblers, and Common Yellowthroats, at the corner of dirt [mud] road off hyw Y. No Blue Grosbeak yet. Did find a Northern Waterthrush also. A Broadwinged Hawk was soaring over hills to the West, not quite close enough to add to the site list. Could see some shorebirds moving around farther down along the road but didn't have time to walk down through the mud. Some more water in pools again but nothing like previous two years.
Had heard couple of YB Chats earlier in another part of area closer to river, plus many Yellow -rumps, Warbling Vireo, Baltimore Oriole, and Red-headed Woodpecker, among other usuals.
