Joe Eades found a Surf Scoter far out in Lincoln/Shields this morning. The bird was feeding near the sitting cormorants. There was a Baird's Sandpiper on the shore near the rail in Ellis Bay. This was a hundred yards or so past Heron Pond. The American Avocets were still in Ellis Bay, but the Willets and the Wilson's Phalarope were gone. Two Dunlin were near the lookout tower and one was at Lincoln Shields. Several Semi-palmated Plover were also at Lincoln Shields.
