Pretty bad when one birder calls you on your cell phone and your land line starts ringing and it is another birder. Edge Wade re-located the BN Stilt. Her call was cutting in and out, if I understood her correctly it was at the beginning of Pool 15, just as you start back; she was paralleling the creek - it was in where there are substantial "turtle logs". An American Bittern flew in to the reeds near the Stilt. Chad Rittenhouse called in with WF Ibis - originally seen in the distribution channel where the Common Moorhen has been reported; then it flew deeper into the area near the Cormorant trees, then while he was talking to me - they flew over the road and landed back in the pool where the Moorhen has been reported. This blows my evening plans!
