In the East one or two birds has been the usual number seen.
It was once thought that NO birds showed up in the East until St. Louis 
birders started documenting Spring sightings.
Seven is a HIGH number for the East.
I would hope the original observers of these birds would make themselves 
know so that it can get in the records. (I would assume it does not need 
formal documenting, just a seasonal report sent to us).
