This morning, Chad Rittenhouse, Robin Hirsch-Jacobson and I birded the
Basket Area southeast of Columbia. I recorded a total of 55 species for
several hours of nosing around there including 10 warblers and 2 vireos,
as well as the usual suspects. Henslow's sparrows are singing prolifically
in the grassy areas. Warblers and vireos listed below.

vireos:
White-eyed
Yellow-throated

warblers:
Blue-winged
Orange-crowned
Nashville
Northern parula
Black-and-white
Yellow-rumped
Ovenbird
Louisiana waterthrush
Prothonotary
Common yellowthroat

Good birding!
