MoBirders,
   
  Jim & Ellen Zellmer and Helen Hewins spent the day birding Taberville, Shell-Osage and Four Rivers.  Despite, at times, high gusty winds, the weather was excellent for a day looking for birds.  Below are highlights from each of the areas we birded.

  All in all, it was a very good day.  Habitat at both Shell-Osage and Four Rivers is very good for shorebirds and offers a lot of promise for further migrants.  We ended the day with a total species count of 93 birds.  Looking forward to next weekend.
