Went out scouting/birding this morning and found a very interesting spot.  It was my first time to Pacific Palisades and definitely won't be my last.  There were a lot of good birds but I was almost carried off by mosquitos so I'll have to remember the bug spray next time.  Highlights for me were:
   
  tons of white-eyed vireos
  red-eyed vireo
  blue-winged warbler (heard only)
   
  I'm sure the were many more good species present but the mosquitos kept me from standing around long enough to find out.
