The Lark Sparrows are back in the fields around my house and 8 of  
them were in the little tree at my front door yesterday morning.   
Literature says they sometimes co-nest with thrashers and  
mockingbirds, but on their own nest on the ground.  I tried all last  
season to figure out where they were nesting, but with no success.
