Hello all, on a very nice morning I had my first real taste of spring at the nature center and lake springfield. The best bird was an osprey at lake springfield that was still present when i left a few minutes ago. Also good or first of the years' were: Nature Center- Louisiana Waterthrush-2(foy) Black and White Warbler-5 (foy) Yellow-Throated Warbler-1 (foy) Orange-Crowned Warbler-1 Yellow-Rumped Warbler-6 Yellow-Bellied Sapsucker-1 Brown Creeper-1 Hermit Thrush-2 White-Eyed Vireo-1 (foy) Red-Shouldred Hawk-2 Gnatcatchers-8 (foy) Ruby-Crowned Kinglet-2 Lake Springfield- Osprey-1 (foy) Brown Thrasher-1 (foy) Lincoln's Sparrow-1 (foy) Ruby-Crowned Kinglet-1 Tree Swallows and Purple Martins All in all a great mornng to be out.
