This morning around the oxbow lakes region just south of Saint Joseph I observed seventeen (17) species of ducks/geese. The Franklin's Gull which I saw yesterday was once more flying around with the numerous Ring-billed Gulls. There were about 100 American White Pelicans resting on the lake and several Great Blue Herons were in the area.

While I was scanning the lake a FOY Peregrine Falcon went flying over, heading southeast. I wished that he/she would have stopped and perched for a while, but it apparently had other things to attend to and did not stop.

There were Rusty and Brewer's Blackbirds picking around in the wetland beside Nelson Road just south of Lake Contrary.

One Turkey Vulture was circling above Muskrat Lake.
