It was a great day to be out birding! Birds at Ted Shanks WA today:   There were thousands of snow geese.

Canada goose 
blue-winged teal 
Northern shoveler 
ring-necked duck 
mallard (also thousands upon thousands)
gadwall 
Northern pintail
redhead duck
bufflehead
hooded merganser
American coot
pied-billed grebe
black duck

red-tailed hawk 
bald eagle  
killdeer 
American crow 
blue jay
robin
eastern bluebird
horned lark 
red-winged blackbird 
eastern bluebird
American tree sparrow
Northern flicker
Northern cardinal

Along the bluff in Louisiana, MO we saw several V's of white pelicans. Beautiful!
