Hello Everybody, Last Thursday (Feb 23rd) I had 4 woodcocks displaying at the Thomas S. Baskett Wildlife Research and Education Center in Ashland, MO. I don't know if they started up before the 23rd, but they've continued displaying every night since that date. Also, I heard a few spring peepers calling from a nearby Forest Service pond last night. This next rain will initiate spotted salamander breeding. Chadwick Rittenhouse Ashland, Boone County, MO [log in to unmask] __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
