This morning (3/2/06) in Forest Park (St. Louis city) I saw four species of duck: Hooded Merganser (1 male and 1 female, the first in FP for me) Green-winged Teal (1 female) Gadwall (8) Mallard (2) They were in the water by the stone bridge with wooden rails near the skating rink. I took the short way in this morning, so that's the only patch of water I checked. On Monday morning I noticed that the Purple Martin house had been put up in the same spot as last year (near the skating rink).
