Last evening I listened to 3 or 4 Woodcock at one location at the wetland area. This was between 6:45 and 6:55. A little while earlier I counted 20 Northern Harriers from the same place where they come in to roost. Neat to watch that many interact with each other as they flew over the grassland.Then I saw two more fly in from the west side. This is the north end of the field [ previously pool ] at the corner East of  pulloff from blacktop road Y. Three Short-eared Owls came up when the last of the Harriers were still flying. One of these flew over the open area where the Woodcock display. I wondered if SEOW ever take Woodcock?  Heard a Barred Owl call several times from nearby hill before I left.
