Took a quick drive through Wappapello/Mingo area this morning. A few
highlights:

HORNED GREBES (2) at People's Creek Lower Campground, Wappapello -- very
cooperative

FISH CROWS (at least 3) vocalizing from the cypress trees in Red Mill Pond,
Mingo

Many waterfowl at Mingo including northern pintail, Amer. Wigeon, N.
shoveler, Green WInged Teal, Ring-Necked Duck, mallard, wood duck, gadwall

PHOEBES, singing (approximately one zillion).
FOX SPARROWS, many
SONG SPARROWS singing in concert by the dozens, a very beautiful sound
indeed!!
