I just got off the phone with my brother, Dan, who saw a Roadrunner
in Laclede County this afternoon around 1:20 (this is the second time
he's seen a Roadrunner in the last couple of years - the first one
was in Wright County).

From Hwy. 5 go northeast on Hwy. V (.9 miles); turn right to stay on
V (2.1 miles); V becomes Skylark Dr. (1.5 miles); Skylark Dr. becomes
CR-B 450 (3.2 miles).

He found the bird on Skylark Drive, just south of Sunburst Road. It
crossed the road some distance ahead of him. He drove to where the
bird had crossed, and he saw it come out of a ditch and move across a
cattle pen just a few yards away. Although the bird was on private
property after it crossed the road, it was easy to see from the
road. It was near a sign for a cattle ranch.

Here's the Mapquest URL to the general area:

I was visiting down there this weekend, but of course the bird
couldn't make an appearance while I was there...
