We welcome submissions in the fields of literature, history, philosophy,
political science, law, sociology, and political economy, or from students
engaging with any of the following topics:

European Monetary Union
German-Austrian and German-Swiss relations
Popular culture
Austrian school of economics
Capital Market Integration
Labor Market Integration
Germany’s contributions to the European Convention on Human Rights
Germany’s identity as a nation state within a unified Europe
Use of the German language at the EU level
Economic effects of the Single Market
Gender politics at the EU level
Literary representations of a united Europe

Submission Guidelines

•	Submissions will only be accepted from undergraduate or graduate students
enrolled as of the submission deadline of April 1, 2006.
•	Submissions in English and German will be accepted. Submissions accepted for
publication will be published in the original language.
•	Submissions may be no more than 3000 words, including an abstract of 150-250
words. The abstract must consist of a topic statement, the nature and the
extent of the research on which the paper is based, and a brief summary of the
paper’s content. Submissions must also include a title. Papers should be
double-spaced and no smaller than 10pt font.
•	Submissions should be original research, and conform to the traditional format
for academic research papers.
•	Submissions must be in Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format. If your submission
is accepted for publication, you will be asked to submit a revised version with
author and affiliation information.
•	Manuscripts should be submitted electronically to [log in to unmask] Please prepare
your submissions for an anonymous peer-review process.
