While wandering around Northwest Missouri this morning, I came across a Northern Shrike (adult) just west of the town of Skidmore on DD Hwy. The bird was perched at the top of a small tree on the north side of DD about 4/10 of a mile west of the river. This is the same location that a Northern Shrike has appeared in past years. This area is located in Nodaway County.
