Birds observed at Eagle Bluffs yesterday, Jan 25
 
mute swans - 2 
trumpeter swan - juvenile - 2  (in a separate pool from the mute swans - continually feeding, so hard to ID for sure)
red-winged blackbirds - 500 or more
mallard - 464 or more
N. pintail - 14
N. Shoveler - 29
Canada goose - 80
gadwall - 59
American Kestrel - 1
green-winged teal - 2
ring-necked duck - 20
canvasback - 1 
lesser scaup - 1
coot - 2
 
Some numbers could be low, it's hard to estimate the number of individuals
I didn't see any eagles.  I hope they nest here this year.
