I participate in a project feeder watch in my yard and have for the past 11 years. The feeding area has changed very little over the years.

The number of species has remained constant. The number of birds fluctuate a little each year. This year I still have 30 - 40 cardinals , 75-100 Goldfinch , 30-40 Dark-eyed Junco almost every day. I have noticed that the woodpecker numbers are down about 60%, although the Black capped chickadee and Tuft titmouse have doubled this year . The other 15+ species are running about average.
