My favorite Christmas gift was a new Bubbler-Cam! The illustrious engineering team of Nate, Emily and Dan installed it for me! I've been enjoying the recorded events when I return from Meramec after looking for the Townsend's Solitaire. I set it to 'chirp' when there is activity, so it alerts me if I'm up in the office. There have been many of the usual species already. Through the Eyecopia software I use, which Nate and Emily designed, I am able to link up a few friends who can watch it at their computer, too!

Today, I was out, and Tina called me and said, "Hey, there's some weird dog jumping over the pond! Check it out when you get back."

Sure enough, caught on camera is the scrawny female coyote, walking around behind the pond, then jumping over the pond at 1:53 pm, broad daylight.

Ohhh....it's gonna be a good year!
