I have not noticed any decline in feeder activity this winter so far. We usually have between 30-40 goldfinches, about 20 house finches, 15-20 juncos and a few Chickadees, Tufted Titmouse and of course House Sparrows. The feeders are usually busy every day in the morning and afternoon. Very nasty weather makes them especially productive. It probably doesn't hurt that we have about 15 feeders out either. Favorites are the cracked sunflower and the thistle sock feeders.
