by the way someone asked about EASTERN MEADOWLARKS IN ST LOUIS AREA
I found 22 on confluence road...most on wires.....I also found 18 GREAT BLUE HERONS today.....12 of them at causeway to shrine at portage de sioux....gonna bird MINGO on my next day off which won't be to Tueday to try and break 100 in January....I only did it 1 year in 20 years of birding Missouri and didn't get the 100th ...a KILLDEER.. untill JAN 31ST.......of course I'll bird the Farmington area until then...but I've pretty well exhausted all the expected species to find there....my best bet at MINGO will be a BLACK VULTURE...or a BREWER'S BLACKBIRD
