The juvenile GLAUCOUS GULL is still present at Smithville Lake (Clay
Co.) -- it's just not at any of the marinas. The bird has moved to
the far eastern side of the lake in a shallower area that is still
mostly iced over. At 2:30 I spotted the bird north of the eastern
bridge over the lake on W Hwy. This is between Fightmaster and
Eastern roads.

From Mo Hwy 92, take C Hwy north to W Hwy; go west on W Hwy to the
first bridge over the lake (just after Fightmaster Rd.). Technically
there's no parking allowed on the shoulder near the bridge, but there
is a Public Access drive on the south side of W Hwy and east of the
bridge where you can get your vehicle out of the road.
