Hello all, the annual and unofficial Cuivre River State Park CBC was held
yesterday. It was a very successful day. Basically, Scott, Bruce and I
with the help of a couple others counted exclusively within the park itself.
We had a record day with a record 47 species seen and of those 18 were
seen in record numbers. Some good results were:

Spotted Towhee-1 (first for the count)
Field Sparrows-3
Winter Wren-9 (previous record was 3)
Eatern Bluebird-100 (previous record 50)
Yellow-Bellied Sapsucker-4 (previous record 3)
Pileated Woodpecker-36 (previous record was around 10)
Hermit Thrush-10

Nothing fabulous but a very good day birding and at the house there was an
"oregon" Junco to add to the day.

Merry X-Mas
Eric
