I have a copy of Sibley's "Guide to Birds". In it there is a Common Snipe.
I recently picked up a copy of his "Field Guide to Birds of Eastern North
America" In it there is a Wilson's Snipe. They appear to be the same birds
in the drawings but the scientific names are different - same genus but
different species names. What am I missing?
