The Common Redpoll visiting the feeders at the home of Paul and Becky
McKenzie on Grandview Circle in southwest Columbia continues to be seen.

If you wish to see this bird from inside the house, you must do so
either tomorrow morning or Thursday morning. The bird is best seen when
it first arrives in the morning, at about 7:15, appearing with the first
finch flock in to feed. Paul asks that you call to make arrangements
with him to view the bird tomorrow.

CALL: (573) 445-3019

From Friday on, viewing will be from the outside, only.

If you must view the bird from outside, walk past the dirtpile near the
driveway and through the gate into the backyard. In back, walk along
the back of the house past the back door. Stand between the corner of
the house and the back door or sit on the porch (two chairs have been
placed there for birders).

The redpoll consistently comes first to the middle feeder, a wooden
octagonal shaped one between a green one and a ceramic one.

House sitters will be filling the feeders and know that birders will be
present.

A Eurasian Collared-Dove is occasionally seen in the backyard.
