This morning I decided to bird Busch CA to try to find a Long Eared Owl. (LEO) Sure enough, the first pine grove I tried I found the bird in about 45 minutes. It flushed and flew away very quickly, and i got a brief view of it when it landed, then it flew again. Tough to get a good look, but its wings were too narrow for a great horned, and while perched I noted the erect ear-tufts. Other birds seen at Busch CA:

  25 mallards
  75 Canada Geese
  2 Northern Harriers
  6 Red Tailed Hawks
  1 American Kestrel

And the usual Robin, starling, blue jay, and small sparrow crowd

If anyone would like to try to find the LEO I'll try to describe the area I found it in. Should stick around for a while. I'll try to go back next week, and take some photos maybe.
