Winfield:
Lots of heat distortion.
WHITE-WINGED SCOTER
2 GREAT EGRETS
LOTS more ducks and gulls, particularly Canvasbacks, scaup and mergs.
No loons.
Saw an interesting raptor perched in a tree but could never get a good view 
due to hear distortion and distance.
Eagle numbers increasing.
Lots of shooting too.

Riverlands EDA:
LONG-TAILED DUCK - in large mixed flock of waterfowl out from outside 
toilets parking lot.
LOTS more ducks, gulls and swans. My FOS COMMON MERGS (several actually)
imagine the gull roast will start to produce some of the bigger gulls this 
week.

Confluence Road
~ 200 mixed flock of horned larks and LAPLAND LONGSPURS - 2.1 miles from 
gate.
some of the Swans were feeding out this far long the road too.

Creve Coeur Lake
Partially frozen, will be fully by the end of the week most likely.
LOTS of ducks and gulls.
Bonaparte's and horned grebes still around.
No loons
