"Quick" trip to the Riverlands EDA (not calling it otherwise until they
change the signs) gull roost Wednesday night.
46 FRANKLIN'S GULLS
5 Bonaparte's gulls
Herring gull numbers increasing of all ages of this species
Majority were Ring-bills.
Lost light before I could ID any possible rarities.

Waterfowl numbers increasing too in Ellis Bay
Mostly Gadwall with the following mixed in:
REDHEAD, No. Pintail (only one male), Ruddies, 4 Am. Widgeons, 10 Pied
billed grebes, one male Ring-necked duck, Green-winged teal, lots of Coots,
Mallards.
Lots of waterfowl way out in Linc. Shields but the heat distortion prevented
identification.
Couldn't find any Scoters yet.

Good birding,
Charlene Malone
St. Louis co.
