Greetings, As I was walking home (all 300 yards) from the nature center at Martha Lafite Thompson Nature Sanctuary in Liberty what to my wandering eyes should appear but a cinnamon-plumaged Lonchura punctulata also known as a nutmeg mannikin, spotted munia or spice finch in all its glory in the prairie. Needless to say, that has never been recorded at the Sanctuary before -- so the question is, do I document or ignore? Thanks for your help. Naturally, Craig Hensley Liberty, MO Clay County __________________________________________________ ########################################################### * Audubon Society of Missouri's * * Wild Bird Discussion Forum * *---------------------------------------------------------* * To subscribe or unsubscribe, click here: * * https://po.missouri.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=mobirds-l&A=1 * *---------------------------------------------------------* * To access the list archives, click here: * * http://po.missouri.edu/archives/mobirds-l.html * * * * To access the Audubon Society of Missouri Web * * Site: http://mobirds.org * ###########################################################
