I hit the Bear Creek Trail from the Garth Ave entrance after work yesterday.
It was pretty quiet, as the light was already fading by the time I arrived
around 6 pm.

No confirmed warblers. (I believe I saw a Wilson's, but I was looking
through the leaves from quite a distance.)
1 pileated woodpecker -- It was foraging in a dead tree that had a large
woodpecker hole (possible nesting site?).
1 wood thrush -- a good 5 minute look from 12 feet!
Others included: 4 gray catbirds, a few cardinals, a few mo doves, 1 n.
flicker, a charm of goldfinch, many chimney swifts, several c. nighthawks,
many r-w blackbirds, and 1 northern harrier.

Good birding everyone.
