Burr Oak was about the same as Watkins Mill today. Using the poor man's bubbler (E. Screen-owl tape) for about 2 hrs. on the Habitat and Tree trails, I got the following:

1 Oven Bird
3 Wilson's Warblers
1 Kentucky Warbler
1 Common Yellowthroat
1. American Redstart
1 Least Flycatcher
1 Traill's complex empid.
2 unidentified empids
1 Olive-sided Flycatcher

The tape was getting a lot of action from the usual suspects (chickadees, titmice, gnatcatchers, Red-eyed Vireos, W-B Nuthatches, Carolina and House Wrens, I. Buntings, Summer Tanager, etc. ) so I am reasonably sure the lack of migrant diversity was due to an absence of migrants.
