MoBirders,
Tom Bormann, Connie Alwood and I birded Tower Grove Park (St. Louis) today and Stump Lake Road in Ill, looking for warblers. We found 10 species:

TGP
magnolia -first fall male
black and white - first fall male
canada -- fall adult male
ovenbird -2 at least
american redstart -- either a first fall male or adult female
chestnut-sided --several, maybe as many as 5, all first fall females
tennessee--both male and females; no first year birds id'd by me
nashville -- female

At Stump Lake Road, 2 rivers NWR, Il.

Blackburnian -- at least 3: first year male, adult fall male, adult fall female
Black-throated green -- first fall male
Nashville

We had a yellow-bellied flycatcher at TGP; possible least (not heard); dipped on the olive-sided (seen shortly before we arrived).

I think a couple of other warblers were seen by other birders at TGP: golden-winged for sure, not sure about wilson's.

Good birding
David
St. Charles County
