A Pine Siskin was present in my backyard at 2:30 this afternoon.

I would speculate that the bird spent the summer in this area and
was a leftover from last year's influx rather than being a "true" fall 
migrant.

I was able to snap two poor quality photos (shooting at an angle
into the afternoon sun) of the bird before it disappeared.
