Call for Papers: German Language and Literature Section of Michigan Academy of Science, Arts & Letters, Oakland University (Rochester, Michigan), March 3, 2006

The German Language and Literature section of the Michigan Academy of Science, Arts & Letters invites abstracts for paper presentations at its 2006 annual meeting.  The meeting will be held March 3-4, 2006 at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan.  Abstracts for 20-minute papers dealing with all areas of German Studies will be considered, including German literature, popular culture, German film, philosophy and literature, and the teaching of language and literature. Abstract submissions must include the following information: Name of presenter, affiliation and status (faculty or graduate student), mailing address, telephone (office and home), e-mail address, title of paper, and 200-word abstract.  Abstracts of papers presented at the meeting are published in the spring issue of the Academy’s journal, the Michigan Academician.  Full papers may be submitted for possible publication in the journal, which is peer-reviewed.
