While not an earth shattering sighting, on Wednesday (August 3) I found an Eastern Wood-Pewee on a nest. Though I couldn't see inside, the bird showed no evidence of carrying food, so my guess is it was sitting on eggs.
Kind of neat to see (especially on a hot, dry, seed tick infested day in southern Phelps County).
