My parents live south on Hwy. 79 (just north of Louisiana and only a stone's
throw from Ted Shanks WA), and have at 50 to 75 hummers at their many
feeders. They are now feeding 2 GALLONS of sugar water per DAY! I'm sure
that the flowers are not producing the quantity of nectar due to the drought
conditions in this area. The flowers are just drying up and dying now.
