Well the Boeing plant WESTERN KINGBIRD nest is getting mighty crowded (St.
Charles co)
Counted FOUR fuzzy headed, gapping mouthed babies when Mom flew in with a
nice big, juicy bug.
Maybe that third adult was a Nanny 911 call to help with feeding the rapidly
growing kids.

Other stuff.........
Shorebirds here and there, mostly a few Leasts on the edges of Teal Pond at
Riverlands EDA.
NO shorebird habitat but MAYBE some at Tamalco (Carlyle Lake, IL) developing
if we don't get much rain from Dennis.
Birds are really far out in the distance though. Had Caspian and Forster's
terns there, gulls (NO Laughing) pelicans and egrets/herons gathering there.
NO White ibis.
There were other shorebirds beside Killdeer but too far away to ID.
Any shorebird habitat at Parking lot #3 is a VERY, VERY long walk out from
the levee.
Nothing much anywhere else at all.

Chow,
Charlene Malone
St. Louis co.
