I don't know if anyone has responded to you as of yet.
There are two places in the st louis area where there are nesting
eurasian tree sparrows, right now.
Both places are easy to get to (no walking required) and you can see the
sparrows without the use of a scope or binoculars.
One place is in st charles county, I saw six ETS nesting.
The other place is in st louis county, I saw 10 ETS nesting.
I don't know what the time frame for nesting ETS from laying the eggs to
fledge is, but they should be still there if you plan to visit st louis
area in a week. If no one else has given you better places to see ETS
please feel free to email me and I will give you exact directions.
