Hello,
 
Pat St. John and I birded Dunne Ranch in NW MO and Squaw Creek (closed due  
to storm damage.)
 
bobolinks (many male and female)
upland sandpipers 
house sparrow
henslow's sparrow
northern harrier
pheasants (multiple male and female)
bobwhite
killdeer
barred owl flew in front of the car chased by two E kingbirds
red-headed woodpeckers on telephone lines and poles
loggerhead shrike (2)
to name a few
 
Squaw Creek saw multiple yellow warblers and first year orchard  oriole
bull frog
crab and crawfish dead on the road.
house sparrow
 
Did I forget anything good, Pat?
 
No cuckoo.
