Four of us birded the Chubb Trail and Henslow field this morning with a total of 55 species seen and/or heard.  Some of the highlights:
 
Chubb Trail:
Cerulean Warbler
Louisiana Waterthrush
Worm-eating Warbler
Hairy Woodpecker
Northern Parula
Kentucky Warbler
Red-eyed Vireo
 
Henslow field:  
Henslow Sparrow--got very close to one singing and heard maybe 4 others
Mississippi Kite flew over and sat in the bare branches of a tree near the river-we don't remember hearing about Miss Kites in this area
Olive-sided Flycatcher-is this late?
Yellow-throated Warbler
Scarlet Tanager
Red-shouldered Hawk
White-eyed Vireo
Prothonotary Warbler
Yellow-breasted Chat
Red-headed Woodpecker
