The CONNECTICUT W. was still in the same area this morning (Sunday). Heard it sing several times,
but never got a look. It seemed to be moving around a lot.

> While doing some census stuff this morn at Castlewood SP came across a very
> vocal CONNETICUT WARBLER singing along the Bluff trail. The bird was about 40
> feet east of the old cement water pump ruins which is located at about the
> halfway point up and along the bluff trail
> Other migrants included good looks at a CANADA warbler.A singing MOURNING
> warbler and still several SWAINSON THRUSHES.
> Blue-grey gnatchatchers incubating eggs.
> Found a Louisana waterthrush nest location.
> Pair of Kentucky warblers building a nest behind the park office. Although
> Kentuckys have nested at this spot in years past and have fledged young the
> edge location makes them very susceptible to cowbirds and predators like possums
> and raccoons.Should be interesting to see how they do this year
