During a 30 minute visit to the Gaddy Bird Garden in Tower Grove Park, south St. Louis city, I observed: mourning warbler - 1 female common yellowthroat - 1 female. ovenbird - 1 Also, a single olive-sided flycatcher was on its usual perch just north of the Gaddy Bird Garden. There are largeish numbers of robins of various ages and of cedar waxwings feeding on the ripening mulberries. Yesterday I was able to observe a male mourning warbler picking insects from the underside of leaves in three different areas of the Gaddy Bird Garden. There were no such prolonged observations today (so far!!).
