LCC marsh was pretty productive this evening
Several SORAS were easily observed and a VIRGINIAS RAIL came out of the
cattails to eat along the south end of the marsh.SOLITARY SANDPIPERS were
observed.YELLOW WARBLERS singing
Counted 7 LEAST BITTERNS this evening."Swampy" the local swamp/golf course
dog helped out with flushing one of the LEASTS..Its amazing how compact these
little cattail gargoyles can get themselves:one crunched down so much on a
cattail it was about the size of a fist!
Did not see any A bitterns or moorhens this evening though

In an earlier post I forgot to mention what warblers were seen along the
Chubb Trail this morn
-1-tennessee,2-ovenbird,3-northern-4-louisana
waterthrushes,5-wilsons,,6-yellow-breasted
chat,7-kentucky,8-nashville,9-cerulean.10-yellow-rump.11-chestnutsided,12-blackpoll,13-parula,14-yellow-throated.15-blackburnian,16-blue-wing,17-
yellow,18-bay breasted.19-worm-eating,20-magnolia,21-cape may,22-black and
white,23-golden wing,24-redstart,25-prothonotory,

although there was a good diversity with a few species showing a relative
abundance(4 blackpolls is ALOT to me) number of individual birds seems low
