This report contains CORRECTIONS and ADDITIONS to the Monday, May 2,
2005 Missouri Rare Bird Alert, a statewide service of the Audubon
Society of Missouri, serving the birding community of Missouri since
1901. The bird alert is compiled from reports submitted by ASM members
and other birders throughout the state.

At Squaw Creek NWR (Holt Co.), one GLOSSY IBIS was seen among 14
WHITE-FACED IBIS (not WHITE IBIS, as typed in the previous RBA) in Snow
Goose Pool by a number of birders on Saturday, April 30 and Sunday, May
1. On Monday, May 2, Doug Willis reported that 14 “dark ibis” were
feeding in dense vegetation just east of Snow Goose Pool, but he only
positively identified five of these birds to species -- all of which
were WHITE-FACED IBIS.

PEREGRINE FALCONS continued to move shorebirds around at Squaw Creek
NWR on Monday, May 2, according to Doug Willis.

On Thursday, April 28, Patrick Harrison reported three YELLOW-HEADED
BLACKBIRDS in the field behind his house in Shelby County.
