Along with many of the shorebirds expected, the Great Rivers Chpt of IL
Audubon found 5 Wilson Phalarope and a single Avocet at the Two Rivers
Wildlife Refuge in Brussels on Saturday. The area where they were found
is commonly called the Pump. It's the gated road just before going up
the hill to the turn to the refuge headquarters. Beautiful breeding
plumage. There was also a semipal. plover. Good birding to all.
