I birded Tower Grove Park today after work with Jack Cowan and Julie Randle.
Among the species was a white-headed sparrow that would appear to be a
partially leucistic white-throated sparrow. Here's a link to a blurry
picture I took:

This bird was with the white-throated sparrows in the trees and on the
ground behind the house that faces Magnolia.

Other birds:
1 - summer tanager (male)
1 - scarlet tanager (male)
1 - Baltimore oriole (yellow-ish male molting into an adult)
2 - rose-breasted grosbeaks (male)
1 - WOOD THRUSH
1 - ovenbird
1 - Northern waterthrush
4 - Eastern towhees
1 - great horned owl (adult in tree along the sidewalk near the Gus Fogt
site) It was being harassed by bluejays
