This evening at LCCL, in addition to the birds posted by Paul McCaslin, we
saw a lot of Cliff Swallows.   They seem to be nesting under the bridge that
the Page Ave Extension (Hwy 364) forms over the last section of the Maryland
Heights Expressway.

Also, the dredge spoil pond nearest the red barns at LCCL had a good number
of Pectoral Sandpipers as well as Blue Wing Teal and Northern Shoveler.
The Cliff Swallows have been seen gathering mud for their nests from this
pond.
